My graphite, colored pencil, and ink work centers on detail, texture, and observational storytelling, spanning personal pieces and freelance commissions that capture intimate moments and milestones, including a wedding portrait and a graphite study of my father’s hands exhibited at the Dayton Art Institute Student Art Gallery (2024). My watercolor and cartooning blend soft, expressive painting with character-driven line to explore quiet narratives, alongside freelance work translating meaningful ideas into clear visuals—such as a painting of sisters where one figure fades to suggest memory and absence. Across all mediums, I aim to create work that is precise, thoughtful, and emotionally resonant.
